We’ve started a new venture… a WEBSITE! Hooray!
But… we don’t know how to use WordPress. Dang. Guess we’ll have to figure it out!
So what the heck is the Gleaner anyway? It’s a theme-based literary journal, edited by the undergraduate students at Delaware Valley University. We showcase all forms of written work as well as artwork and photography pieces. Delaware Valley University has had a literary magazine since 1912 (back then, we were called the “National Farm School”) , and we continue that yearly tradition by gathering the best submissions from undergraduates and even high school students! This year, for our Now and Then issue, we invite DVU Alumni to make submissions as well.
There is a lot of creativity out there, and we want to capture it year to year in our journal. We mainly advertise across campus and on social media to get submissions to the journal, but this year, we decided to start a website, too. This way, we can talk about the creative process and showcase the hard work of the students who made it into the Gleaner as well as those making the Gleaner.
